## What Tulimoa is

Tulimoa is a curated SaaS catalog where the listings themselves are machine-readable. Every product profile has a parallel `/discover/<slug>/llms.txt` Markdown file that agents can fetch directly, without HTML or JavaScript noise. Listings are reviewed by hand — there is no pay-to-play ranking. The directory is operated from Göttingen, Germany; data is stored in the EU (Supabase, eu-central-1 Frankfurt).

- **EU-hosted, GDPR-first.** Hosting in Frankfurt (Supabase eu-central-1); data residency in the EU; auth mails via Resend (eu-west-1).

## What MCP means in Tulimoa

MCP = Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI agents to tools. A listing with `Has MCP server: yes` exposes a hosted MCP endpoint that agents can call to read or write data inside that product. Listings without MCP can still be discovered by agents, but require traditional API integration. Tulimoa annotates this on every listing so agents can filter for ready-to-connect tools.

### How does a SaaS get listed on Tulimoa?
The vendor submits at `/submit/new` with name, URL, description, tags, logo and pricing. Listings are reviewed manually (usually within 24 hours) before going live in Discover.

### Are listings free?
Yes. Phase 1 (current) ships only the Free tier — full listing, do-follow backlink, single content block. Paid tiers (Basic, Pro) with hero image, gallery, multiple content blocks and featured-placement launch in Phase 2.

### How do AI agents discover Tulimoa listings?
Three machine-readable paths: (1) this site-wide index at `/llms.txt`, (2) the per-listing Markdown at `/discover/<slug>/llms.txt`, (3) JSON-LD `SoftwareApplication` structured data in every HTML profile. Crawlers find the per-listing Markdown via `<link rel="alternate" type="text/markdown">` in the HTML head and via this site index.

### Where is Tulimoa hosted?
Cloudflare edge (Frankfurt) for the application, Supabase eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) for the database, Resend eu-west-1 for transactional email. All data residency is inside the EU.

### What does the Tulimoa badge do?
Free listings embed a small badge (light or dark) linking back to their Tulimoa profile. The badge is verified once at submission. Vendors who keep the badge live on their site longer get a higher position in Discover within their tier — Tulimoa rewards loyalty, not budget.

### Is there a German-language version?
The site is fully localized in German (`/de`) and English (`/`). The catalog content itself (listing descriptions, tags) is currently English-only — listings appear identically on both locale roots.
